It took a day and a half to strip it, and they scheduled three days total. They had a young guy who really knew what he was doing. He had the technique doing what was previously discussed here on the forum, wallpaper steamer and plastic razor blades. They used some sort of citrus solvent to remove the adhesive. I think it was worth it to have him remove the stuff.
