This isn't really the best thread for this, but on the subject of absorption refrigerator, many people do not know that the temperature of the freezer is based on how often the refrigerator section calls for cooling. If you have ice in the fridge or are trying to defrost a turkey or the outside air temp is cold, the refrigerator section won't need cooling and the freezer section will warm up to close to the refrigerator temp. Turning on the low ambient temperature switch (which does nothing more than leave the interior light on all the time) solves that problem. Or you can just open the refrigerator door more often.
