Shane,i took apart one of those valves and the screen on the bottom is a vent for the diaphragm,the discharge holes that let the air dump out of the bags are higher up on the housing and around the outside,they have a horse hair filter inside the housing which surely can get plugged up and make the release slow.


All those years of using soapy water on the screen to check for leaks!
And the leaks would be higher up.
