12kw runs 3 a/c units at the same time without issue. And a bunch of other stuff, it's more than enough to run everything at once, basically. 6.5kw isn't going to do that.
The previous owners of my bird paid over $15k to have the generator replaced with a Powertech 12kw unit.. I am glad it has it now.. I think if your handy, just replace the weak components in the gen head, the sliprings, brushes and voltage regulator..
That central georgia generator has very inexpensive voltage regulators.. that is what I was going to get for my buddies Kohler/Perkins...
