I think their temp figures are accurate, but the total number of cycles is greatly diminished when charging over about 90F, and discharging over about 100F. There's no reason to piddle in the middle of the voltage range, there's very few lost cycles by going to top/bottom (90%/20% typically) SOC compared to going between 40/60%.

As far as a residential fridge goes, my 24" model uses next to nothing every day, but your full sized one would use a bit more, still lower. Mine has been keeping frozen za and ice cream solid for months of not being plugged in. An RF18 Samsung would use 1.6kwh per day according to its Energy Star rating. A few solar panels would offset that pretty well, too.
