Busy day. Got the old engine out, now to change over the accessories and reverse the process. The parts are still available to mate a MD to a 3208, slick kit, bought all new parts for the fresh engine. Installed the 'old' engine dozen years back, got about 100k on it, interested in what I'll find when opened up.
Had time to fire up one more on the test stand, like I say busy day, went well.
I should interject the bus is real hard to push, 4 of us had a tussle getting it shoved back 8' to swing the engine cart out, no wonder they can be slow and hard on fuel.
