Default TV Antenna lifter motor stripped

Has anyone serviced or replaced their ant lifter motor? I understand it is one of the most reliable components on these coaches, as there is virtually no discussions on it. But mine is now just clicking and not lifting and I assume there is a nylon gear in there that's stripped, but, although I have it off, and on the bench, I can't seem to get inside it to see what's going on (perhaps move it slightly past the stripped section, etc?). Does anyone know about these or where to buy a new one from?

I don't know the specs, but you can find 12 volt actuators in may lengths, strengths and speeds to fit your needs. There seems to be a slip clutch in BB units as they start to chatter when fully extended or retracted. The newer units may have a directional stop switch.

yeah, I did that right off. The clutch is slipping, with any amount of force at all. That's why I was hoping to get inside and take a look, but no avail. So, nobody's been in these, or knows of a model available as a replacement? I think maybe they are the most reliable component.?

I had mine off yesterday, it was stuck. Put a screwdriver thru the end hole, hooked it up to a battery while I held the screwdriver. Reversed the leads a few times to change directions, and it broke free and went to the end and threw the screwdriver across the shop. Cleaned the shaft up and lubed it. She is very smooth now. Clicks when it can't go anymore.

its a linear actuator, like an electric jack on a trailer.
I have been in them, you can take it apart and unstick it and it will be fine.
One thing you should not do is run it until it stops and the clutch chatters, not good.

Took mine off about 6 weeks ago. Would not come down and the PO had damaged it on his Barn Roof. PUt it up at the Blue Bonnet Rally and it would not actuate back down. The connection tabs to the base plate are broken and when I brought it home unloading it from the car a red wire fell out of the motor area. Thus the issue of the lowering I bet. Dr. Of BB technology Rick Shawver is getting mine to fix up so he can catch up on his Soaps. I try not to watch TV when out on the range. Next owner will have to go to Sat. TV.

I have a FC-35 and the antenna has stopped working. Where is the fuse, it also has two switches that you push at the same time.

Looks like the breaker is in the right front load center.
