Default Selling my 1973 FC31 w Detroit Diesel on Ebay

Hey guys,

It pains me to need to do this, but I have listed my bird on ebay with a starting bid of $3000, which is what I paid for it. I have rebuilt the brakes and have it running/driving/stopping, but I have not replaced the tires which are way past their due date for replacement. I have extensive records that have been passed down from owner-to-owner, to include the original receipt from when it was repowered with a 6v53 series Detroit.

As it sat in storage for 15 years prior to me purchasing it, a couple of raccoons and mice made it their home and so it was necessary for me to strip down the interior. I have kept the Norcold refrigerator that was upgraded, as well as the propane furnace, and have junked everything else. It's pretty much a stripped down to the shell.

The following link will take you to the auction if you are interested.

Thanks,

Matt Sanders

It does have a Generac 6500 dual phase generator that runs off the propane tank. The 6v53 is rated at 216hp and the transmission is the original Allison that came with the gasser motor. Will get back to you on the exact model.

That looks like a big project. Good luck with the sell. I found out the hard way eBay bids on vehicles are not binding.

Hi Matt. We have several questions. I messaged you with phone number through this site and through ebay. It would be great to talk to you before auction ends.
