Default Plumbing air to toad from FC

What have others done on FCs with toad air? I need to plumb a line to the bumper to feed the toad air. Pick up air off a relay valve or go with a tee to one of the cans? I'm headed to my local (truck) NAPA to pick up supplies soon. I'm pretty sure I'll use 1/4" air line, the quick disconnects, they sell those there, trying to KISS on this project. I thought about going inline with the relay valve, mounted to frame, less chance of moving around with the axle going up and down on the can tap setup. Just looking for thoughts and suggestions. Thanks.

Default M380 to Toad Air Line Hookup

Not an FC but principal should be the same. Tapped into air line with a Tee between rear manifold and left wheel. On mine that line is 3/8” and the toad fitting/line is 1/4”, so fitting purchased accordingly. Check yours before heading to the store. Picture of lines taken looking up.

Default

I came off where the line for the tag can came through the frame with a bulkhead fitting. I took the fitting out of the bulkhead and put a Tee in. That part worked well. Finding a route to the rear took me 3 times before I got it to where I liked it. Remember heat will make that tube soft. I also ran the 1/4 line in a heat protector.
