Mine will be ready at the end of August. Seeing how I bought my last pickup new and drove it 20 years (and it is still in pretty good shape) I figure the cyber truck will be the last one I buy. I'll just rub it down every couple years with some steel wool. This is not a green freak thing, I just think it is cool. Plus I live in a hurricane power outage prone area and I can just plug the truck into my house to keep my beer cool. Until someday when I get a real solar installation. As fast as I can attack my project list it extends itself proportionally....

I'm not one for EV's let alone the cybertruck. It was a nice writeup Jim. Here is Hoovies video on the Cybertruck.

The assimilation is almost complete
I have had it for 2 weeks now. It is an amazing vehicle - not for everyone but perfect for me. Great ride, super quiet, fit and finish better than I expected. Everything works seamlessly - a very well thought out package. It's like an iPhone 17 Pro Max Mega Plus Pro with 4 wheels. I haven't had it off road yet but will be heading up to the northern outer banks sand & dunes later this month.

Not a CT but it is a Tesla…
Finally got around to test driving a CT. Might’ve pulled the trigger had I not measured one last time to see if it fit in the car bay of the birdhouse garage. Turns out it is just over a foot too long! After the CT test, we also test drove a Model 3. Instantly fell in love with how nimble, quick and well built the updated version of this model is. Like the CT, its rocket-like acceleration must be felt to be appreciated. End of year deal with three month trial of FSD and supercharging clinched it. So the garage now has a new occupant (that fits). Saw where FSD version 13.2 downloaded today, so may use it tonight to help Santa with some deliveries . It might give Rudolph some competition
Just posted this short video of my first upgrade - a complete tint job, since it’s cockpit is much like a fishbowl when it comes to absorbing sunshine: https://youtu.be/CldykwqLpcE?si=pgaO-ATTlgSzhXI6 .

Impressive Van, you definitely found the right guys for the tinting job! That was a difficult job for sure, I enjoy watching pros do their thing and making it look like no big deal!
