I should have a new one today,it will be slightly larger.

I have no idea how that head got into the pics!
Is somebody fooling me?

That head showed up all over the place here at Randy's, I even saw it on top of my 'Bird and under my 'Bird it was rolling around and bouncing up and down for days...........and now there is no sign of it anywhere around here, I think Donna took it with her
to Maine it must have some sort of sentimental connection to her.........Hmmmmm

If you mount the bracket, with proper care, the S60 will grow out of it.

I bought a 200amp Bosch alternator today, after much discussion about Leece=Neville and other options.
I will get it mounted tomorrow and give it a test run.

Woody,i spent a few hours with the guys at G and M alternators in Dothan, two brothers own the place and their dad owned it before them,64 years in the same building.
Those guys are sharp, they keep up with whats what on semis, tour buses, farm tractors etc.
Farm tractors are full of electronics these days, engines are electronic and they have GPS,AC,and stereo etc.
So,they tell me that John Deere uses this Bosch 200amp,as does Paccar and International, they converted a fleet of trucks over to this unit a few years ago, buying 100 of them at one time.
The Bosch has 2 internal fans, they suck air in the back past the diodes and the regulator and spit the hot air out the front, its a heavy well built unit.

He does have Leece-Nevilles too,but the 200amp LN is more expensive then the 270amp LN,and the 270 amp job is almost $800,plus the 12 grove pulley is another $80 or so.
The good part is,the Bosch and the LN share the same mounting system,so if the Bosch does not work out i can swap in a LN.
