Well we wound up replacing the ECM and took it for a test run only then to find the rear end broke! She is now sitting on jack stands waiting for have her rear end rebuilt. It is a mystery to me how the rear was broken, especially since this is a very underpowered vehicle. She isn't strong enough to hurt herself and not fast enough to break anything. Just glad we didn't go with a bigger, stronger engine or he would have blamed the rear end on that. Fingers crossed this is the last thing we have to fix on her or he may set fire to it.

So I have been busy over the last couple of scorching days, replacing all the lower exterior lights with LEDs. Completed the amber side marker lights today. Need to find new O rings for the lenses as the original ones are pretty shot.
Also finally put up my multi colored LED tape light the length of the main awning, under the drip rail. Now I just have to wait for Tony to build me a box to house the power unit. I was originally going to make it run the entire length of the coach but then I thought it might be rude to have that light, that wasn't under the awning, at night shining at our neighbors. At least if it's under the awning, it should be shielded somewhat.

Once it's powered up, I will take some night pictures and post them.
I just love working on my bus!

Time to dust off this old thread.

Got a new Fan-Tastic fan to install where that old attic fan thing is in our kitchen. it doesn't work and I suspect it is responsible for all the humidity we keep getting in the coach. I am having to change out my 3 DampRid buckets and 3 closet pouches every 2 months! Also got a new fan assembly for our small Vanir fan that had a piece of tape that somehow got attached to the spindle and broke the plastic fan. Gotta love my Amazon Prime!

And who says it doesn't already?

I've actually cut back since I've been retired.

Oh. I suspected being in Florida was the cause of the humidity.

I keep a weather logger in my bus. Right now it is in a storage lot. Its hitting 115' in the bus with 100% humidity. Can't wait to get the garage up. That will be white and insulated so it should be much cooler. I can also have it on shore power.

Here's this mornings progress: (I know, without pics, it didn't happen)

Here's the original attic fan thing that we were told by the PO that it didn't work.

And here's my temporary skylight while he makes some minor mods to accommodate the new Fan-tastic fan.

I had that fan, some people love it, but it never sealed up. I had the same problem with it.
