I really like my Honda EU2000, but I don't believe it would be able to start a roof AC. I also wouldn't care to lug it to the roof or carry gas up everyday. It would also have to be hand started each time you needed air conditioning.

At minimum you need the 3000 size unit for one AC. Like most, my Honda 2000i is a BACKUP. I have had main gennie failures and also been where noise is not appreciated. It beats knocking on the neighbors door to borrow a cup of sugar and a few KW of power
