I bought myself a new J1939 cable for Christmas so I was able to install my RV Dash in the M380, lots of unknown pid's but the unit is up and running great. If this confuses anyone, sorry about that. If you don't know what an RV Dash is you can see them here. It is the creation of a member here btw.

Hey Jim, looks pretty cool. Let us know how it works out. Looks a lot like SilverLeaf, but with an iPad I guess.

Mallie, I used the RV Dash in my LX for a couple of years and loved it. I just needed a new cable so it would work in my M380.
One of the reasons that I went this way instead of the Silverleaf is that the system works with Detroit, Cat and Cummins. I can take it out of the coach in 2 minutes and hook it up in a truck should I need to.
Another thing that I like is that it uses an iPad, which is a lot smaller that a laptop. I have the iPad mounted on the dash using a Ram Mount which frees up dash space as well.

Discovered my hot water was not all that hot, about 96 degrees with a meat thermometer. The aqua hot was about 200 degrees (electric thermostat is 198, so that is about correct).
Must be my mixer valve I realized, especially when I tried to turn its little knob, which was frozen in place. So bought a new valve from Roger Berke, took its guts out and placed them in the one in place on mine.
Now if it was not winter and I had not emptied my water tank for winterizing, I would test it out. But that will have to wait.

WOW! Had looked at the Silverleaf stuff but they aren't iPad capable. This looks perfect. Would love to see it in action. Are you going to Q, Jim? Thanks!!

But that may be a exaggeration for parts of I 95 in 'south' South Carolina.

My daughter and son-in-law gave me a new mini-max Green Egg grill for Christmas. I have had a storage compartment slide on my bucket list for awhile now, so this is the excuse to move it up in priority. It looks like I have a whole 3/4" height clearance to work with so my usual practice of over building may have to be contained. Is anyone currently carrying a grill such as this? Pictures to follow.
