I use railroad bridge timbers, they are rectangular, not square like the road timbers. They are creosote "treated", so no ants, bugs, etc. Just a rope to remember to remove them. Guaranteed they will support your bus

I use 16"x 16"x 1/4" plate steel, Some of the swap meets we go to your parked in a field.

Ditto on Snap Pads - love mine. Now also available at etrailer.com.

If you want “industrial strength” pads, look at http://www.outriggerpads.com. They make the stuff used by utilities, first responders and mobile crane companies.
