Quick update. I contacted Firestone and gave them the number W01-358-8055 and asked them to cross reference it, to which they responded there is no replacement for it. They directed me to Ridewell and I'm waiting on a call from them now. My bus definitely has two bad bag on the driver's rear and the tag is the only thing keeping it up. So if anyone has any suggestions, I'd appreciate it.

Unless you’ve actually verified that the bags themselves are not able to hold air (holes, ruptured, etc.), more than likely they are not what’s wrong.

When one of my tag bags ruptured, the air leak was tremendous. Interestingly, the air compressor was still able to inflate the bag to about 45 lbs. But turn the engine off and it sank like a stone.

Those drive bags, as far as I know, are only available at Fleetpride, and made by Ridewell.

I saw the Napa listing before and although you can find it on their site, they're not available anymore. I spoke to an engineer at Ridewell and he gave me the following numbers. 1001R14309G is the replacement for the original in my bus. I haven't been able to source it yet. He said this number to me as well - 1R14-309, again I haven't been able to find this number available either. I'll find something eventually.

I haven't verified it 100% yet, but based on the loud hissing noise I'm hearing from the driver's rear axle and the way the coach drops like a rock when I lift the tag, I'm assuming it's the bags. I plan on using my smoke machine from my shop to see if I can pinpoint the leak this weekend.

Default Ridewell updated air spring part number for 41 and 43 ft Wide Body

1001R14309G-0 is the new replacement part for the original air spring #1003588055C that is now obsolete. Ridewell has them in stock. I got email confirmation of this today as we are working on a 97 41ft with ride issues and needed information from Ridewell.

This new air spring has a taller bump stop than the original did but the operation and ride heigth is still the same.

I will update with more information as I get it.
