Aw gee David, do I really gotta?

I still really do enjoy driving Ziggy, almost as much fun as the destination and sometimes even more fun

Also have to get my CB fixed. Miss mixing it up with the truckers. I'm just an ole redneck through and through ..LOL

Default Blue Bird "Intellectual Property" Records at Parliament

So... The Smoke has cleared by now. The question is What is Parliment doing with the "Intellectual Property" it bought at auction? Is it making any of it available to us Bird Owners? Build Sheets, any Drawings, Schematics etc? I would like to have some of the History of my Bird. Inquiring Minds want to know.

I was at Parliment Coach several times this past winter and saw the files safe and sound. I spoke with Steve Mitchell about his plans and they were in the process of scanning all the material. When I last saw the files most had been scanned and this was in mid March.

Apparently Blue Bird's filing system was not one file for each coach. Some stuff was filed by body #,some by chassis # and some by VIN #. I suspect setting up a fully accessible database is a formidable task.

Steve told me they were considering several methods of making it available to interested parties. One of the methods was to provide access via the Internet through a secure site and a pay per view or a subscription.

No final decision had been arrived at.

That is the last I heard.

When I broke down in Flagstaff, AZ last month, Rush Truck Repair (who I used) called Parliament and referred to them as Bluebird as if they were the original. My guess is that Parliament got the word out to truck, etc. repair that they were in fact THE bluebird knowledge, etc. - - since they bot the books, etc. Rush also said that when they called them, Parliamnet was NOT knowledgeable - - - probably the guy on the phone din't know beans.

Default Parliament Coach - Clearwater, FL

How lucky am I ? ...to have Parliament Coach so close-by. I live in the Tampa Bay area and have found Parliament to be convenient for all my '04 Bluebird M380's needs. They know all the Bluebird systems inside and out. I can always trust they will treat me fair and provide professional repairs for small and large jobs. They seem to have a large inventory of parts readily available and have always provided any item needed. The Last visit I was pleased to find out they washed my coach. But as usual they went above and beyond. It appear they had completely detailed the exterior including chrome, bug screen/ front end and tires. What great service! My bird is like new once again.

Default Blue Bird records Parliament

I am at Parliament having a couple of issues taken care of and it was good to see that they have two people digitally scanning the old records from Blue Bird. I believe the records are in good hands.
