I believe it would be a packed house if all us WOG people lived close to Deland. I know that Emma and family will feel an overwhelming presence come next Saturday so come out if you can

Pictures, pictures, pictures, we need mo pictures of KC!

I'm going to try to stop over on my way north so I'll be camping somewhere nearby but can come in the toad if space is limited.

Jim, I believe there is space available right at KC's for a handful of coaches

What a beautiful day we had yesterday for KC's Celebration of Life. Lots of family, car club family and Blue Bird family to help celebrate. Emma was a wonderful hostess, considering the circumstances. Ryan Saari delivered a wonderful Eulogy. I know KC was watching down on us and smiling at all the people who came out to support Emma. KC, you will surely be missed by a lot of folks. We all love you!

I got home a few hours ago,had dinner and a nap!
Nancy is correct, the celebration was good, the weather was sunny and clear and not too hot.
We all had a chance to talk about our friend KC and to look over his shop etc.
Ryan did an excellent job,i have always wanted to hear him speak.

I would say this was a pretty mellow event,a few tears were shed,a few laughs were shared and us Bus people got to meet a few of his other friends.
The VW club was there, with several nice air cooled Vdubs.
The street rod guys were there also.
Of course family, with some great grand kids enjoying the day.

I got to meet Chris,KCs son.
Hes a big young man,i asked him how he got so **** big! What with Emma and Kc being small.
Chris replied " we are still trying to figure that out,i suspect the Milk Man!"
I knew for sure at that moment he was indeed KCs son!

Most of us Bus guys had a WOG shirt or a Blue Bird shirt on,the car guys were wearing their "colors" as well,it was a casual event, after all.

One last note,we paid the transport fees and the rest of the money we put in an envelope and Carol made a nice card with the names of all of you that donated money to help them along.
We gave that money and card to Emma.
I thought thats what you guys would want.
Emma is not a computer person, but she was very emotional about the card and the donation.
Thanks to everyone for the help,it was quite a large amount of money.

God Speed KC.

The Celebration of Life service for KC was well attended by about 80 people, maybe more? Unfortunately I didn't get but a few pictures as our camera guy (our 14 year old son) was a bit under the weather and stayed home I believe 22 WOG peoples were in attendance in this group? Emma and their son Chris as well as their daughters and grand children were very appreciative of the helps WOG provided in their time of need. KC spent about 6 hours at Hospice before he passed on which was his dying wish, Vladimir would have been proud
