Hello Everyone,
We just discovered this group after having belonged to the Yahoo groups and so far we are impressed. We have been Bird owners for about a year now and have picked up valuable information from similar forums. We have nicknamed our Bird "Always Something" since it seems like we go from one issue to the next, but other owners, and the staff at Blue Bird have helped us through several crises. Our Bird is currently at the factory being serviced and we have nothing but positive things to say about our several experiences there. One piece of advice I would offer to other "newbies" and "wannabees" is never to trust your Bird to just any RV dealer. If you can't get to the factory I would recommend that you ask other members of this and other forums for advice on dealerships. Despite having had our fair share of issues with our Bird over the past year, we still enjoy the experiences it has provided us. As the owners of two previous Class A's there is absolutely no comparison to the ride and handling we experience on "Always Something". We traveled to Fort Valley last weekend as a severe weather front was passing and witnessed many rigs on the road with us having difficulty negotiating the fierce winds that accompanied the front - not the Bird! We are both still working in an effort to pay for our extravagance in buying our Bird, but still feel the expense was worth it. I look forward to the day when we can set forth on even greater adventures. In the meantime we have had a lot of experiences at campgrounds in north and central FL and the central and south GA area and would be happy to share advice to anyone visiting the area. Hope to meet other members at Fort Valley or one of the Rallys in the area. It was great to be at the nest last weekend despite the foul weather. We hope to meet anyone who is there when we pick our coach up in the next week or two. Terry & Cathy Baker Orange Park, FL 2000 43' LXI, "Always Something" |

Terry and Cathy,
Welcome to the fourm and thank you for the nice post. My wife and I are still "wannabes" and hope to purchase within the next two years. We will definitely solicit your feedback in regard to travels in the north and central FL/central and south Georgia areas, when applicable. By the way, congratulations on your "Bird." Tom and Deborah
