End of Summer Rally 2022

Barb, Dexter and I have spent the last week at Poncho's Pond, one of our favorite campgrounds spending time with our family. We are starting the preparations for our 2022 'Bluebird End of Summer Rally'. Dates are set for the week after Labor day, starting Wednesday September 7 thru Sunday September 11.

As always we are excited about the opportunity to catch up with friends as well as make new friendships all focused on our wonderful Wanderlodges! Details of rally will be posted as we get closer to the date.

Poncho's Pond Campground, a nationally accredited campground is more like a Great RV Resort than a campground offering great amenities as well as great places to explore the Michigan Coastline with great sandy beaches, lighthouses and the famous Badger that ferries cars, trucks and Buss's across the great Lake Michigan to Wisconsin.

Ponchos Pond has been spending the last couple years improving the already great campsites and now has added concrete to many. Poncho's are always excited serving Bluebirders as they have a long history with Wanderlodge and the people. We typically fill up the space they provide and urge all interested to reserve their spot.

Poncho's honors Rally Rate starting on Labor Day, Monday September 5th through the week. Take advantage of a full week stay or longer like many have done for past.

I had to kick my goalpost from Shipshewana to this rally. I thought I'd be ready by then, but this one is looking good. I have all my belts on and adjusted, just working on my radiator shroud, which was butchered for some bush fix of an electric fan install (by a previous owner). I'll post about my work fixing it separately, planning on some before/after photos, especially considering I'm a novice welder. Hope to see some folks up there, this time with my bus!

Kris, hope it comes together! This rally typically pulls in a great group of FC's. Michigan seems to have a big number of classic wanderlodges. Always great to see them at the rally!
