That would be a great job for a single Gear Head with a love for Nitro. Sitting at a NHRA event selling something to other Gear Heads could be fun also. Roberta and I have been to several National Events but even with our love of the sport, that would be a hard job. If your a vendor you won't be watching the racing. When the race is over on Sunday evening or afternoon late you would be off to the next event hundreds of miles away with a deadline of Thursday to be there. No time to smell the roses with this job. Off season is late October to late Feb.

You can have a lot of fun between Sunday night and Thursday morning. I've been doing exactly this since 1982. Except I do Trap or Skeet Tournaments. The job is interesting to me from several points. You get paid, ( self employed, this doesn't always work out in your favor), the liability is some one else's problem, so is the inventory, so are the vendors fees which at races can be EXTREMELY HIGH, I know a guy that has 75' X 10' spot outside the track at the Indy 500 $250,000 for 96 hours rental, that was 10 years ago, who knows what the fees are today. You gotta sell a lot of T-Shirts. Now you know, those shirts make a lot of profit to be renting space at those prices. Curious as to what they pay for expenses? Fuel, ?????? etc.etc.

Got all the info
This isn't a work camper job
This is a lease to sell their products and all the expenses , liabilities are yours.
Reminds me of a real job

Thanks for the link kyradawg. We're actually considering applying for a job like this in the future. I'm the nitro gearhead Of all the worldly possessions we had to let go of to go fulltime RVing - my 18yr season tickets on the starting line at the Texas Motorplex were THE hardest to part with.

No thanks. Had a few of those and didn't like them all.

Good friends of mine did this exact job @ NHRA races for Jegs, 3 years, think they made about $75k a year, quit and bought a nice retirement place, however drove Jegs motorhome, not thiers.
