Learned something, BMC has no A/T switch which means no need for a VIM external Neutral Start/Safety Relay.

FWIW, on the WB the VIM has two +12vdc feeds, one constant (from battery) and one IGN switched (controlled by IGN Relay). Not sure if that's also different on a BMC.

I would start by checking voltages under drivers window .
The solenoid , the wires feeding the Allison box and unplug , inspect and reconnect the connections .

I believe so. Since we know your Allison pad is dead, I would look there first because it's accessible and easy. At the VIM, check red and black wire for 12+ and ground. Wire 134 should show batt+ with key "on".

If everything has power , it's likely you'll need the shift pad / computer repared .

Electrical diagram of compartment below driver's window. Bottom right switched circuit breaker 134 sends power to VIM when key is "on". Check for 12v at this circuit breaker.

I don't know much except that being stuck with a non-functioning bus is a pretty bad feeling and advice is what this forum is best for. Just like when you helped me out on my first day of owning a BMC when it was dead with similar issues. That kind of help is never forgotten.
