Yes.
Use the dead bolt only.

Default top button lock

you should put a screw in the lock mechanism to permanently disable the key lock, that will solve the lock out or lock in problem as well as take the slop out of the locking mechanism, then you can adjust the rods that connect to the inside and outside latch, my latch has been fixed for years, no problems now

You do have the touchpad outside along with the dash and the bedroom lock buttons on your bus don't you? If so that is all you need to lock the bus. You don't even need a key. I never used a key in the 12 years I owned my '93 WB. It is so much easier to use them than a key. I always had a key hidden in case something went wrong though

Hey Randy, just glue some 9/32 nuts to the keypad numbers and then you will feel very manly to start using the keypad.

I have hated keys all my life. It is just one of my things I guess. When I put them in my pants pocket back in the "old days" when pants were not so baggy as they are now they were always poking me. I even went so far as to cut off the head of my car key when I was on the Indiana State Police and stick it in the ignition so you couldn't see it. Then I would use the remote to unlock the door and just turn the switch on the column to start it. I did that for several years until a new mechanic at the Post garage dropped a dime on me. So the department made the "Walters Rule" that you couldn't do that anymore. I had several rules named after me for some reason.

In many relationships there is a lock person, the other goes crazy because the keys are never around when needed, So the crazy key person never locks up.
Take that to the marriage counselor.
