Default BB-II remodel

Well, I am making enough progress on the complete interior remodel of the Buckeye Bird II BMC that I can post a few pictures.
I had completely stripped everything out except the cabinet, counters, shower stall etc. All of the floor and wall covering, window treatments, furniture, most of the lighting......GONE.
I am trying to work my way from back to front to keep from having to move through finished areas to work. The bedroom is complete enough for now, with the exception of making a new headboard and installing the TV. I have changed out all of the gold stuff in the coach, lighting, drawer pulls, etc. and went with satin nickel. I am a self-taught "seamster" and sewed up and built the new window trim and valances.
The bathroom is about 80% complete, just waiting on a new shower door and toilet.
I had ordered a new Sealand Concerto toilet from Camping World on Jan 17th and UPS broke it before it got here. It was re-ordered and the second one was also destroyed by UPS. Today I was to get the third one.........you guessed it.......DESTROYED by UPS. I have never received any of them, they are just breaking them somewhere between here and Bowling Green, Ky. I have not heard back from CW yet to see if they even have another one to try and send out.
Anyways, here are a few before and after pics.

Dan,

Nice upgrades!!!

I'd say it is time for a roadtrip to pick up the next turlit. Can you cancel the order and get it from the Akron CW?

Mike

Thanks, Mike

I think it might have to be shipped to the Akron store even if I got it there. These are all coming out of Bowling Green. CW is blaming UPS and I just got a call from UPS with them blaming CW..........go figure. I talked with CW this morning and have yet to hear back from them.

I did get a good delivery from UPS today, the cabinet doors for the kitchen that I had made by Peach Wood Products in Byron, Ga., who were the original manufacturers of the cabinets. They did a really nice job of matching up the doors and the finish of 18 year old cabinets. If anyone needs cabinet replacements I would not hesitate to call them.

I could blame one on UPS, but three in a row indicates inadequate packaging.

I tend to agree Gardner, but I also think that there are times when the word "FRAGILE" doesn't mean much to those who are tasked with moving packages through the system.......

I really don't care how many they have to send at this point, as long as the last one they have in stock gets here in one piece.

Excellent work Dan, just what I would expect from you having toured Buckeye Bird. Hope to see you, Janet and the BMC at RATS
