Default Right Side Injectors Not Working

I have A 1990 WB 8v92 and the drivers side ejectors injectors are not working. Does anyone have an idea where to start? Would it be inside the ECU or 1/2 the power going to the ECU? Trying to get on the road to head to Pine Mountain.

My guess would be the street side wiring harness?
You need to get hold of a DDEC reader

Thanks, Steve
There should be at least three circuit breakers near the Racor filter. Three of those breakers feed power to the DDEC and the injectors.

Those breakers are known trouble makers so I would eliminate them from the equation by either replacing them or by temporarily putting a jumper across each of them. If you go with temporary jumpers, I would put a 20 Amp fuse in series with each jumper just to be safe.

See attached picture – it shows the location of those circuit breakers on my 91 – your 90 may be different but you should have similar breakers for your DDEC there somewhere.

I'm quite the newbie, but this sounds like it might be the DDEC breaker ...

On my bus, 3 breakers near the Racor (see pic at this thread, post 17 - https://www.wanderlodgeownersgroup.c...t=28989&page=2) - This bus is a '91WB.

If I understand correctly, one breaker is for the DDEC "brain" and the other two are for the injector banks ...

To all,
Thank you for your help in diagnosing the issues with our 1990 WB. Houston we have your answer! It was an electrical issue: a broken wire under the battery compartment! All fixed now and firing on all 8 cylinders again!! Hope to see you at Pine Mountain next week.

Hi Stephen.

Great news!

Can you give any more detail as to which wire / function etc?

Could be useful info. for others going forward ...

Thanks,

So the main wire supplying the DDEC lost 12 volt for the right side injectors. Both breakers were fine so we traced the wires from the breakers back to the DDEC. Behind the battery compartment was a badly corroded wire. Cleaned and reconnected now we are on all 8 cylinders. Thanks again to all who helped.
