Default HWH New Cable

Has anyone installed a new HWH cable (the cable from the dash panel to the control box in the bay)? TIA

Default HWH Ground

All the LEDs on the HWH arm rest panel light up. It's been intermittent for some time and yesterday all LEDs ON again and stayed that way. No leveling no nothing, just lights on. I ran a ground from the control box frame (one of the cover screw holes) to the generator battery ground. The first try leveling and all was good. Cycled the system several times, still good. Then I moved the ground to the forward wall of the pass-thru bay. Cycled again and still good. Panel is working as expected.

No longer a need for new control cable and path to install it.

Glad you got her fixed Curt. Seems like more often than not, when something quits for no explained reason, it turn out to be a ground. Glad it was that simple for you.

Default Hold On

In post #2 the HWH Air Level system WAS working as expected. Just now tried to cycle the system...immediately back to all LEDs ON.

Default Grounded Again

Photo attached of the latest HWH control box grounding. Much better than the grounding I did yesterday. Used External Tooth Washers, & 1/4 self tappers. Six or seven deflation/leveling cycles and all seems good...until ? Need to zip tie the white ground wire and paint the plate.

Curt, hope this simple fix takes care of your problem. Thanks for the update and the photo, something to look for if we have the same issues with our HWH

Default NO Hot Function

Another happening. The HWH touch pad gets VERY warm when the sun shines on the drivers side of the coach. The touch pad will not function until it's cooled down. Anyone else experience a warm touch pad not working?

Curt,
I have not had that issue. Thanks for the heads up. I will have to remember to keep the drivers side shade closed.

Our shade is always down when parked here at home, no direct sun on the touch pad. I think the problem is there is no insulation between the touch pad arm rest and the outside of the coach. Pull up the pad and below it is open space. Another thought is maybe our touch pad is dying? But, I have a new pad from HWH, and it also fails the same.

5:00 pm pt...Cooled the touch pad. It was very cool when removed from the freezer. Plugged the cable and no difference, all LEDs ON. So the problem is ???. I'll keep chasing and report back.
