Default 3208 Leaking Fuel?

Well we sold our beloved 88FC35 to a couple in Naples and they are having issues with the bus. They are stuck in Cullman, Alabama and the bird is at C&M Truck Repair. Allen (new owner) tells me that they had a no start issue and was towed in to the shop, plus they had a serious fuel leak. The shop said they have to replace the starter saying it's fried. Once they get the starter replaced they will fire it up to find the fuel leak. They say it is leaking fuel which runs down under the engine on both sides. My question is what can this be? They are telling me if it is injector lines they may have trouble locating them. I'm hoping it is just the rubber fuel line to the injector pump. We had a rebuild injection pump put on in 2014 and in the past Whayne Supply our local Cat House tested the injectors about the same time the pump was replaced. I hate all this since Fran & I just got back from a 1000 mile trip with no issue what so ever. So for you guys any suggestion as to where it may be leaking fuel and is it necessary to pop the nose open for repair? What about it Mike H.?

Mike H is on the road, most likely without any internet.
I suspect a fuel line, injector lines would have never crossed my mind.

I also suspect the new owner may have burned up the starter trying to start the engine, but who knows?

I'm guessing that they ran the batteries down and burned up the starter with low voltage. Fuel? Could be anywhere, the rubber line near the front filter could be a issue

Best I can do is talk to the shop, NOT the newbe owner, weary of newbe owners myself. I found the shop on line, will call them tomorrow and see what's up.
By the way, be fearful of selling to folks that can't pull a wrench, get's complicated fast.

Sounds like a loose fuel line coupling which are next to the engine buried in the frame rails?

Thanks Mike the tech writer or shop foreman is Tim, I talked to him about 4:30 today and he said they had a starter that would match up.

The new guy is a nice older gentleman & he is an antique car buff, said he use to drive long haul and drove the Naples's Trolley a few years back. I have talked to the shop, I'm doing what I can with the buyer, so far he has been patient. It's the fact he is stuck in a small town, no car and is in a motel. I feel his pain...
