Johns only had it 4-5 years,he has only done short trips (i think).
If my bus had 400,000 on it i would be bragging!!
Johns had no issues and he works on it quite a bit, improving stuff.

OK,for fun, lets say it has 12,000 miles on it,would that make you run?
or jump for joy?
I recently had the chance to sell an LXI,1999 with a slide,11,000 miles, always garaged, lived in southern Ca.
Made 2 documented trips in its life, both to the sellers ranch in Montana or somewhere.
Never in snow,washed monthly etc,etc.

I always have a list of real buyers, they all ran from it,saying "not enough miles".
So just what is enough miles?
Whats too few miles?
On a 40yo coach?
What is the magic number?

If it starts and runs good, and you know the seller and hes active on WOG and goes to rally's and is known as an all around "good guy",then thats good enough for me.

I bought an 88 XXV as a flipper coach years ago,the seller told me it had 250,000 miles on it.
The odometer was showing 50,000.
I doubted it had 250,000 on it,but Carol was looking through the blue box and every service was recorded (seller bought it new).
Every oil change, every nut and bolt was listed in the repair orders.
I could have sold it as a 50,000 mile coach and nobody would have every known.
But i sold it as a 250,000 mile coach and the buyer drove it home, almost to Alaska with not an issue.
Does miles matter?
does hours matter?
This coach has been for sale since the 1st of oct.
and its a bargain,i think he needs to ask more money!!

Well, since we bought a coach with 200+K miles on it, I am firmly in the camp of preferring something that has been road proven, rather than low miles.
I'm sure not everyone feels the same, but I felt better about a coach that had been there and done that, than a "someday" coach.
You can't put that many miles on something if it isn't right from the start and well cared for over time.

I keep my bus with John's buses and we take care if them. His 80 runs great! I know it has new batteries and he had George do all the maintenance the last time. We use our buses every month and yes right now they have been within 5 hours so short trips. His 80 is also the hard to find rear bath. Like any Wanderlodge it is not perfect but it is worth a lot more then John is asking for it. He has not be pushing to selling it hard but once people start looking at it is will sell quickly. I think he had 12 or 14 people ask about it but he has not had time to show it. Once he gets back from holiday travels we will do a couple small things and he will have more time to show it. If you are looking at FCs then I wouldn't hesitate because this one will sell quickly.

Congratulations on the sale and the new to them purchaser. It’s great that someone that’s a member bought it as they understand these coaches.

No, it is going to Wisconsin, but they are going to the Everglades first.
