When you change your filters refill with ATF it’s the easiest, and you probably won’t have to prime. You can buy the filter for the Racor and the CAT at NAPA, fill the fuel filter with ATF and the filter housing for the Racor. I would do the Racor first and run it see what happens.

There are no electronics on the 3208/MT643 combination. No boost likely means no fuel or air in fuel

First time out in our FC we lost power within 15 min and slowed to 10-15 mph no more than about 1500 rpm i think. At the time I was a total newbie and thinking the worst.

The first advice I got was to check for fuel issue filters etc. Spent a fair amount of time messing around with that and no change. It turned out to be a linkage issue.

The throttle cable failed and was not running the full range (typical FC issue). This problem is very easy to rule out. Just reach into the dog house and advance throttle to see if you get full RPM ( I think around 2600 on a 3208 turbo). I hope there will never be a next time. But I will always recommend to rule out linkage first. In my instance it would have saved a lot of aggravation. Have since switched to Williams air throttle and that is very worthwhile mod.

I had a similar issue on one of my first trips away from home with our 85 FC. Luckily, Mike Hohnstein walked me off the ledge. The helper lift pump had failed for me. In my case, the bus hadn't been run much, and there was gunk in the filters, but the bigger issue was the ground on the facet pump, which pushes fuel from the fuel tank, through the filters and to the engine. $40 and 2 bolts and a bit of electrical splicing. Good luck.
