If the coach we get already has a name we will keep it. If it doesn't have a name I've suggested "Reisenheim" (traveling home in German), but I'm not sure I'm completely sold on it. Probably should stick to buying one that already has a name.

David, if I was prone to using a german name for a coach, it would be "Zeitgeist", german for "spirit of the times"
Strikes me as appropriate for a Bird

Named our "new" '82 "SHAMBAHALA"

In Tibetan Buddhist tradition it means:
"A place of peace, tranquility & happiness"

I'm thinking "Poltergeist". Just when you think you've got a bird mostly squared away, she spins her head 3 or 4 times and throws a bunch more stuff to fix at you!

I believe it is bad luck to change the name of a coach. But I am the superstitious type. When I purchased my coach it had no name. Other than what I ultimately named her I strongly considered "Big Iron"

If we can't change the name then the Bus is already named 'Scottish Lion'... neither of us is Scottish but the wife is Irish... not sure what I am ...

I like bird related names so I think Albatross would be a good name for a money pit...

I find "Albatross" delightful because I have a touring tandem bicycle named "Gooney Bird." Loaded, it takes forever to launch and reach a stable cruise speed, but oh MY can it ever fly!!

Printed vinyl in hand, I just need temperature and time to get the "Festina Lente" onto the bus....
