I'm also on my way to Flywheelers and I got the trailer hooked up and loaded the car earlier this afternoon and then made it all the way from Trumbo Annex to Sigsbee Annex here in Key West before I stopped for the night, all of about 4 miles To say I'm a real trooper is an understatement, but when there is a free meal with the Bragdon's I ain't passing that up, plus I'm not a good night time driver anymore and I have plenty of time to get there by Wednesday, I quit getting in a big hurry anymore unless I really have to, nothing like being retired.

Yup, The road into Oaklahoma City is contributing significantly to the dental industry. It will definitely rattle a couple of fillings out, and pretty much do a thorough 'shake down' of the bus Last time I went through there even the trucks were taking it real slow.

I wonder what OK did to tick off the Feds for road-maintenance funds?
Or maybe the question should be what is OK doing with all that fuel tax money?
Not trying to get all Political here, just a pointed question...

Once you get a good look at the soil composition dry and wet, you'll understand why the roads aren't "ok". You'll actually think to yourself, "How in the h$!! do they make them last as long as they do??" Build a road on a sponge and see how long it lasts. The current I40 is in much better shape than it was 10 years ago. There are only a few sections of rough road left now. 10 years ago, it went from west border to east border. The 300k miles on my current truck will attest to it, too.

Good stuff. I've lived near DC for 30 years and never heard of Duncan's Family Campground until now. Good luck!
