Bottom feeder special, runs, drives, gen set works, they say. Worth a look for the budget challenged. I paid 15k for my FC w/blown engine 11 years ago, interior was a lot better but there were tons of issues. Shipping cost 3200 bucks from Houston, was out side washing it off in February. Took a year to get it back together, been torturing me since. I doubt there's a better deal on a PT/892 coming down the pike anytime soon, check for rust by the way.

There are too many questions about this seller.

Another thing to point out - he is currently listing a 'Vette that sold, with a positive feedback recently. They are really doing a lot of things wrong, too many for any trust from me.

The coach looks good from the outside tho - except for the entry door...

I think this could be an example of a miss treated ,but good bird.
It may have fallen into a situation, with an owner not knowing about Birds.
Someone need to look at it with some mechanical or BB experience,
Heck, even I look good in a digital photo shopped blurry picture.

Such a mystery to me, people want to be confident that the machine was 'well treated' by honest and "NICE" people. NO ONE is NICE when they are trying to off a money pit, and vintage RVs are just that. However, that's not really the issue, the machine will tell you about it's past treatment, if you know how to look and listen. People lie, machinery doesn't.
Those that don't get what I'm talking about would to well to consider a new class C with an extended warranty.

This has been stated before, but:
Wannabees, Lurkers, etc.: If you are not mechanically inclined AND knowledgeable about Birds in particular, GET SOMEONE WHO IS TO CHECK OUT your prospective Bird. Be willing to swallow your ego and pride and LISTEN to what they tell you. I was fortunate enough to have Mike H's input after he looked at Rara Avis. Did I buy my Bird based on input from someone else? Absolutely! Never had an issue with her. When I read some of the issues folks have had with theirs, I count myself lucky for listening to Randy and the rest who are WAY above my pay grade. Just sayin'
