Default Water Heater Switch Question

Hey guys quick question that a search doesn't really resolve.

I recently started (again) to find why my bathroom and outside plug only have 90 volts. In the process I had opened the closet door and noticed that the switch for the water heater was blinking/flashing. Not consistent or a pattern.

I tried to remember if it had always been that way but can't remember.

So in your experience does your red HW switch flash, or is it constant fully lit?

It is the neon lamp nearing the end of it's life, it will not affect the switch operation.

Leviton etc. still make them.

Cool, I just wanted to see if it was something I should be worried about. I'll track down a new switch.

I could steal the one from the insta hot, we never use it, probably because I haven't gotten it working correctly.
