Where are those valves! I didn’t turn anything off! Dear wife played around with the electric floor heaters when were plugged into shore power!

When was the last time you had hot water from the engine heat? Where are you needing hot water? Domestic water or chassis heat? If domestic water it could be the Versa valve, if it is chassis heat it could be a Sporlan Valve. It the gate valve have been turned off they are in the engine compartment on the left side of the engine I believe, someone will corret me if I'm wrong on the locations. Good luck.

The gat valve is on the passenger side right above the primus boiler. My bus is at the dr. Office due to my poor driving ability so I can’t check but “I believe” all that controls this is the gate valve mentioned above, the primus controller above the drivers chair, and there is a switch above the drivers seat I believe is called engine preheat, not sure if that has anything to do with your hot water. Hope this helps you sorry I can’t be more help but my books are in the bus.

How does a gate valve break into the closed position when nobody touched anything?

Dang, learn something new every day. Mine were so mangled, glad I got 'em changed. You couldn't even turn them.

I have just 2 out of 4 handles on mine. I want to replace them with ball valves, but I think I'll probably just replace the "cores" so I don't have as much coolant loss.

I'm not sure my hoses would survive a flat clamp to hold back the flow.

If I ever get around to replacing all those coolant hoses, ball valves will be part of the project.
