For the cost of the bulbs and given their 25 hour service life, I'm going to try LED replacements. Shopped around a bit online, and I found these (https://www.larsenlights.com/par-36-...tt-flood-light) for $27 apiece. Should be a direct fit; we'll see...
I installed one of these LED lights and have to say...I am disappointed. The lenses were plastic and looked used, and while the LED lights themselves appeared to be bright, I just don't care for the blueish LED lights.

This is not a permanent replacement for me for landing lights, and I would not recommend them.

Jeff,
How are your landing lights holding up?

Jeff Kunzelman put some LED landing lights in and likes them. I bought some like he had but haven't gotten around to that particular project yet.

Default LED Landing Lights

Our 96 uses H9406 sealed beam for landing lights. I have looked on-line for an equivalent and have so far come up empty handed.
Some sites cross to a Deere work light, but I ma not at all certain that it is a direct fit.
Has anyone found an LED replacement for H9406?
Thank you.

I have looked for several years for a LED direct replacement light. I have never been able to find one. I suspect the John Deere light will fit because the bulb that is in there stock, is sometimes listed as a tractor work light.
That is the reason I made my own. Not expensive, but takes a bit of work.

Both H9406 sealed beams and their led replacements are listed on Amazon for short $

H9406 is 93mm x 150mm, 3.6"x 5.9". They also have a ridge around the outside that allows them to fit in the rubber of the docking light fixture.
I have not been able to find them. The LED bulbs ones that I see on Amazon are not 93mmX150mm.
