Default Generator Exhaust Blankets

I was visiting Dana Pyle the other day, and he had his generator running. Much less noisy than mine. He has very nice exhaust blankets. It seems to be the blankets that does the trick. Even when the generator slide is out, it is not as noisy.

Where can I get exhaust blankets for my Yanmar, Kohler 12.5?

Jon, I was searching today for an exhaust blanket for my Yanmar, but didn't find anything that was a custom fit. I saw a lot of ads for exhaust wrap made for headers. I wonder if it would work wrapped around the exhaust manifold?

I contacted firwin.com. They are sending details on their FY4TN-12Z (model 4TNE88) blanket kit. I'll share the information here after I receive it.

Here is the 4tne88 exhaust blanket info. We could sketch something, add measurements, and send it to firwin.

Thank you for your inquiry into our insulation products. It took me a while to find these photos, they were stored away in an old file cabinet. These are the photos and dimensions for the insulation cover FY4TN-12Z. If this does not look your engine, submit photos of your engine (if possible with perspectives similar to the ones here), and take dimensions like the ones attached, and I can get back to you with new pricing. As per our phone conversation, this set FY4TN-12Z is priced at $169.75 (it includes the manifold and silencer)

If you have any questions, feel free to contact me.

Best Regards,
