Default FC Engine History

I saw it once, and didn't bookmark it, and of course now I can't find it. Somewhere on the Internet there was a listing of what engine was placed in which years of FC. Something like this....

1980 to 1983 CAT-3208 NA 210 HP.

1983 to 1984 CAT-3208 NA 250 HP.

1984 to 1985 CAT-3208 NA 250 HP standard.
CAT-3208 T 300 HP optional.

1985 to 1988 CAT-3208 Turbo 300 HP.

These are NOT the correct years, but I can't remember what the years were. As I look at used coaches, I would sure like to know what engine they have when the seller forgets to mention....

If you know the location of such a chart, or can type me one...I would appreciate it.

I haven't seen a chart, but there was also a 225 hp turbo version in early '83's, and possibly later '82's.
Also, I think anything over 210 was turbo, not NA

More like: 210 NA
225 T
250 T
300 T AC

The 3208 was used for many years in the FC and then finished it's run in the SP.

Might find what your looking for over on Vintage Birds. They have a section call History, I think.

some early 77,78,79's had 3208 NA's

the 250 turbo went up through 1986, the 300 Hp was in the 87,88,89 FC's, & Sp's

Or you can just look for that information right here on WOG;

Wanderlodge Owners Group > Mechanic's Corner > Engine > What is your CAT 3208 a NA or a Turbo

I couldn't find any photos of a CAT 3208TAAC engine, so if you have one please add it to this thread and any other information about how to identify a CAT 3208 please add that too.
