Antron has had some bad crashes, including the one last year. NHRA has a good safety rules package for the Pro fuel ranks. To see him climb out of that twisted pile of smoking junk is a testament to that. Good thing they only go to 1,000 foot mark with Pro class fuel powered cars. They are going almost as fast as the full 1,320 feet of years past, but it gives them more room to get it whoaed up. Any time you mix competition, fuel and staggering speed, it is dangerous. It takes nerves of steel to climb back into a dragster after a wreck like this.
