Default Water Pump Inop

I've checked the CB in the bedroom, are there any other breakers I can check, or it is the pump dead?

Lance, My original Remco Aquajet pump had an inline fuse near the motor. Not sure if that was normal or not but worth checking.

The original developed a problem with the pressure sensor variable speed control. Remco advised they did not have parts or service the older pumps so I had to replace mine.

Good Luck!

I had intermittent pump power problems when I got this coach, and isolated it to the switch in the bathroom. I wired around it and that took care of it, with the other two switches being enough as far as I was concerned. If you haven't done so, try all of the possible combinations of switch positions for the three switches.

I tapped on the pump with power on and it tried to run very slowly, so I'm draining my water tank, and will pull the pump and take it apart, I think the pump might be clogged with junk. Worth a try anyhow..

Lance, put a shut-off valve on each side of the pump so you don't have to drain the tank in the future. I put 2 pumps in that spot so I could switch from "port to starboard" with a switch and fix it when we get home..

Not much room on 380 for that, but courtesy of the PO I do have an extra. That pump recently came in handy for flushing out the Hurricane lines after recent rebuild. Bits of plastic inline never a good thing! Diagrams show water pump switches carry full amps without relays. High draw pump puts allot of stress on those switches. Was thinking of adding under Lav sink on-off switch when I discovered this but that mod is on hold...

My pump has a relay, looks like an add on. As per Bob's suggestion I will install cutoff valves in line.

My M380 has a shutoff valve at the tank, just before a tee that goes to another valve then a line that is designed to be dropped in a tank of antifreeze for winterizing. This is at the end of the tank on the driver's side.

Don, I'll look again, but the only valve I've seen is on the drain line from the tank...
