I watched it the first year it became an actual show. However, I used to watch the Tracy Ullman Show back in the day to see if they would air a Simpson short.

When it first started I thought it was strange. Over time I grew to love it. My wife gets me a Simpsons calendar every Christmas!

Back in Arizona in the early eighties, way before the tv version, we used to read the Simpsons comic strip by Matt Groening in the local underground newspaper.
