Default I81 Syracuse to Tri Cities, TN

My first venture to the North East starts Wednesday. Anything to watch out for on I81 southbound?

I doubt we'll have to worry about that in a FC

Starting 10 miles north of the Binghamton (New York) area, the police are usually many and strict! Guess the city needs the money due to their loss of IBM and other companies. Just take it easy through there.
If you need anything or have questions, while in the Syracuse area, give me a call : 3 one 5 - 35 zero- zero 8 zero 9.
Have a safe and fun trip!

rest stops are small and get packed by 7pm most nights . If your like I and use them plan to get in early . That goes for all Va and TN rest stops . Enjoy I81 its a nice ride , I will be on it today on my way south heading back to Fla for some regrouping

Yes, the police are quite active and strict, specially at the bottom of long downhill stretches.

Chris, hope you are already through the Syracuse area, they are saying another night of freezing temps and possibility of snow. (Got to love this Climate Change weather - LOL - NOT! ). Hope your heaters work! After tonight the night temps are heading to 60 degrees in two days!
