Default Fl Keys

Depends on what you want to do. Key West is a blast. Can stay at Boyds campground on Stock Island a mile or so N. of key West. other cool places to stay on your way down. just flew down and back today for work, no better feeling than entering the keys by land or air, just something magical about the place. Go snorkling, diving, fishing. take the conch train around key west, rent mopeds, golf cart. Great restaurants in key west, (blue heaven, bars, sloppy Joe, Irish Kevins. on and on.). its a party town, if thats not your thing might hit some nice restaurants on the way down,. 'Green Turtle good place to eat on way down. The square grouper is a favorite, might be a few of them now, I like the one on Cuddle key, 22658 overseas highway. Anyway lots of fun to be had.

Enjoy.

Cool

Thanks Chip and Bragg-

Now the wife has changed her mind-
Its her birthday weekend and thinks the Keys is too far for a 4-5 day stay-

Looks like SSI or central Fla.-

Why SSI when Jekyll is so nice and peaceful? That's where we go. Would enjoy meeting you and seeing your bus.

I don’t know of a campground on St Simons Island. The one on Jekyll is not on the water.

If ever you do decide to go to the keys, I can recommend Jolly Roger Campground on Marathon Key. It is a very nice facility, on the water and just a quick ride to Key West. We usually go every other year and, frankly, I enjoy the relative peace and quiet of Marathon after a day in Key West.
