Default Places to visit or camp in Florida/Miami

Hey guys.... been a while since I've been on here.

I'm headed to Miami with my Daughter in the coach next week. Our first Daddy-Daughter road trip! And I am looking for Ideas to Park and entertain a 15 year old lol

My plan was to stop in and visit a friend on Monday, but then I'll have about 3 days or so where I could camp, and was hoping to be near or On the water front, since she loves the beach.

Any recommendations?

Not Miami proper, nor on the beach, but a awesome county park in Hollywood with lots to do.

Port Canaveral beachfront camping- https://www.portcanaveral.com/Recrea...ark-Campground

Another nice one is Juno Oceanwalk in Palm Beach County- within a block of the ocean- https://junooceanwalkrvresort.com/

On the west side, we love Ft Desoto. Silky sand beaches and waterfront camping- http://www.pinellascounty.org/park/camping.htm

Port Caraveral is on my bucket list. Looks like a neat place to camp.

Try the Larry and Penny Thompson county park at the Miami Zoo. I’ve stayed many times. Very clean and secure in good section of town. Big zoo and water park. About $30/night.

Also try River Ranch RV Campground Resort between yehaw junction and Lake Wales on SR 60. Dude Ranch with rodeo on Saturday night. Saloon, carpet golf, mechanical bull, zip line ,line dancing, horseback riding, swamp buggy rides, air boat rides, marina, etc. First class place. The campsites are gorgeous.
Have Fun

If you are going next week you better be making reservations today ASAP..
Labor Day is about next week or so.
Good luck
