Default Generator radiator replacement

Faced with having my generator radiator repaired so I'd rather just replace it if I can source one. My 87 has the horizontally mounted radiator under the center of the bus and measures roughly 17" x 19" with 1 1/2" outlets. I've spent some time searching the net but haven't found anything close.

Any suggestions would be appreciated.

You might check with Summit or Jegs or some other racing parts place they might have something.

No direct aftermarket replacement available for ours. Re-core or modify what's out there to fit.

Bill I was reading old posts and saw this. What’s the story on the extra radiator? Do you have a picture, is it hooked up to the coolant loop. I don’t have one, never heard of a FC with anything like that. Is it the transmission cooler ?

I reinstalled my original radiator after cleaning it up and testing good. I did replace all the hoses and clamps though. No leaks in a couple of years service. It will eventually require replacement and I’ll go with a generic model of similar size.

This post was in reference to my Onan radiator.

Not an extra radiator Kiki. The Onan generator on 87-89 FC's has its radiator mid mounted behind the rear differential, in front of the fuel tank and between the levelling jacks. It is mounted horizontally with a squirrel fan above it. Mine started leaking and I dropped it out and had it re-cored. Good time to flush and fill generator with coolant and blow out fan. It sucks a lot of dust if you run generator on a gravel/dirt road.

Ah I didn’t see the thread title, my mistake. I was searching threads on fc radiators.
