Default Mobility Scooter Lift Installed

I ran the 12 volt #10 power wires from the battery to the hitch, not too bad a job. Class 3 hitch (2 inch receiver). Following the instructions, I placed the lift on the ground, connected the power and lowered the lift, which actually lifted the main assembly resulting in the adapter on the lift lining up with the receiver.

Then it was a matter of a little pushing, pulling, twisting, etc too get the hitch inserted and the bolt installed and tightened.

The platform folds up when there is no scooter on it. The unit also has the $400 Swing-away feature so I can access the rear of the Jeep if needed, However, you can not swing it with the scooter on it.

I need to come up with a better licence plate mount. When folded it is behind the deck and barely visible. They do have an option to raise or lower the plate automatically, but it is $178 (that is not happening)

And of course, some pics
