Tell Us Where You're At As you travel around the country, why not take the time to tell our members where you have settled for the night, week, or month. There may be another member close by, that would like to meet you, so put that information right here.

Default Heading down to Orlando....

Leaving Sat for Orlando to visit the mouse for spring break. Staying at Fort Wilderness for 5 nights.

Figuring about 850 miles one way...call it 1700 miles total. At 9 miles per gallon, about 190 gallons of fuel at $3.00 each....$570.00.

Carrying a total of 5 persons, one dog...no motel bills, no security screeing, no lost bags. My own bathroom, shower and bed.

Yep, I see why we love the BB.

Hey, All you folks that brought the cold weather down to FL, can you please leave now?

Have fun. We're heading to New Orleans Jazz Festival the end of April; and yes, having the 'Bird" is great.

Unhappy

Ernie,
Keep an eye on the weather. We had forecast for "slight chance of showers" this morning in Phoenix area. We got dumped on. Almost 3/4 inch here in Mesa.

Thanks dave, will do, I have the NOAA airport page bookmarked, the DOTs bookmarked and Brenda can keep track of all that while we drive, instead of her watching videos.

Frank, If you've never been before, you'll love Fort Wilderness.. A little pricey, but the best campground (outside national parks) I've ever been to.

Were home again....nice trip. Disney Fort Wilderness is a very nice place and I have to admit even after 5 trips to WDW, we all still enjoy it. Plus, Disney does treat you well. Perfect weather also!

No coach issues, other than diesel being about $3.00/gal

I'll add that since we figured out the JK Jeep we have (2009 4 door) has no steering wheel lock...towing is simplicity itself. No key in the ignition...just hook up tow bar and lighting cable (we use the cooltech wiring harness), set up the brake buddy and go.

Saw one FC coach on Rt 95 NB in NC, maroon and silver and that's it for the older style coaches. Saw two newer BB's flying down the highway but by the time I recognized them, they were long gone.

Frank,

Was one of those newer BB's a M380 southbound on 95? If so, that was us. I thought I saw an older BB northbound. We just got back over the weekend from a 6 day, 4,000 mile run. The final leg was from Syracuse, NY back here to Lakeland, FL.
