Default 84PT

I got around to going down to one of our members place in Little Rock yesterday. He owns an 84 PT that has been involved in a mid coach fire. This coach could be rebuilt but the owner is involved in Government contract work and has zero hours to spend on his Motor home and won't for years to come. He needs the BB gone. Some new parts have been bought, 35,000 miles on rebuild engine. Rear tires and wheels have less than 50 miles. Lots of good salvage or take on a real project.

PM or call if interested and I'll hook you up.

Mike, In this case it was an extension cord run under the tires that overheated and caught the coach on fire.

Now, THAT is a real interesting point, Rick. My ext. cord does indeed run under the Bird. Guess what I just when out and finished doing? This site never ceases to amaze me. Never occurred to me that there was a possible fire hazard running the cord underneath. Just sorry I learned about it from someone else's misfortune.

Don't get too carried away. The issue was not under the Bird, but under the Birds Tires. Compression, heat and all that.

EDIT: By the way, are there any pictures available scoping out extent of damage. thanks

Woody, There is a schoolie sitting down at Marshall. It's an FC. No mtr or tranny. Think it is a mid to late 80s.

Hope your feeling better. You sounded like warmed over -----.
