Default M380 antennas

The ~2 foot antenna above the driver's head is broken, is this the CB or the AM/FM? Need to replace it, particularly if it's the CB! Has a loading coil mid mast, spring loaded base.

Smile M380 ANT

Chip

Yes the one on the left is the CB ant on ours,

The one on the right is FM Radio.

Also look at the one in the back of the Bus it is the one for the bedroom radio.

Anyone replaced the mast on one of these recently? I unscrewed it from the base, looks like a small resistor as the base contact. Maybe I'm best to go to the CB shop! I hate the idea of running a new cable.

Default M380 Ant

Can you take a picture of what you are looking at? I have changed the one that's at mid coach that was a cell phone.
Have not had a reason to take the CB one apart
Normally it would screw off and just a contact on bottom, however since it has a spring coil you may be looking at a coax connection.

I screwed it off and the contact may be bad, the spring coil came off with the mast. It's weird - hence why I'm posting about it! The braided cable that runs through the spring coil broke and the spring coil itself is in bad shape. If the base needs to be replaced hopefully I can replace the end i.e. there's enough cable there.... I'll shoot a pic tomorrow.
