I am certainly no expert but not the first time I have seen the change to synthetic leak and the change back solve the issue. Does't make sense to me that the synthetic cleaned the gunk out and changing back to Dino put it back. Maybe the synthetic just isn't compatible with some of the older seal materials.
That leak was right through the casting, which is why I said it is a casting flaw or a cracked hub, both of which a synthetic would had a better chance of flowing through.

I don't remember exactly, but I bought a 5 gallon pail and it's got quite a bit left in it. A couple gallons maybe?

Hmmmm I wonder if I bought two 5 gallon pails. It has to be listed in the manual somewhere I think?

I double checked and I only bought one 5 gallon pail, but there isn't much left in it, maybe 3/4 gallon. I just looked. Very technical, specific info here lol.

I just emptied mine and I want to say it was close to 4 gals coming out.. I was not able to find a fill amount in my manual... but the manual is pretty generic I think for several axles..
