Default Finally bought my first bird

We finally pulled the trigger & bought a 89 PT 40 from Armand in Louisiana. We picked it up Tuesday and drove it to Coachworx to have some work done before we take it home. It was a pretty eventful trip but no major problems. I have already come up with a pretty good work list to fix it up. Looking forward to the rally at Coachworx in January. We plan on bringing our Jack Russell & Boston terrier to join in on the fun.

Hello Dennis and Ella!

Saw your PT at CoachWorx today (was visitating with Jim Nichols) we were trying to guess if it was an 89 or 90?

If you need anything give a shout!

Congratulations Dennis & Ella,

We’re glad you found a coach and we hope you have a lot of happy times with it.

Nancy and I enjoyed meeting you while you were at the Great Outdoors.

Hopefully we will see you and the new coach at Coachworx.

John & Nancy

Hi Dennis & Ella-

Although I'm parked just a few feet away I didn't want to bang on your door this early. I'm scary enough during the daytime!

I'm picking my car up from the repair shop this morning and would be happy to give you a ride to the rental car place if needed. Or I can probably borrow the Coachworx pickup if it's not too far and you need to go before I get my car back.

ok. Little update. I have been away from the computer for a couple of days. My coach is at Coachworx to have the right side bags adjusted, the coach runs down the road with a bit of a list to it. Also need to have some body work done to the back of it. I was backing up and my wife asked me if I wanted her to spot me while backing. I told her I thought I had it...well I didn't. I managed to hit the corner of the roof of a building while trying to turn around. Not my best moment. I have made a work list for when the coach gets home. Mostly electrical. I am beginning to understand why the coach was named "Sparks". All in all I am very happy with the coach and am looking forward to working on it and making it all mine. I want to thank Steve Gureasko, Bill Pape & John Wyatt for showing me there coaches and giving me advice while I was trying to figure out which coach was best for us.
